Project Overview
What is the 21st Century Technology Support Project?
It is concerned educators gathering to define the future of support of technology in education in Pennsylvania schools.
In spring of 2006, educators gathered in a series of workshops across the state of Pennsylvania to grapple with the identifying the technology support needs to support 21st century learning in our schools.
Our next step is a meeting to discuss and redefine technology support for schools that will enable 21st Century learning. This forum will focus on the contributions made in a series of preliminary meetings throughout the state from March through May of 2006.
At this meeting, we hope to create a set of criteria for schools to use in providing technology support for student learning, for school administration and for teacher learning, including possible job criteria for technology support personnel.
The Forum will be held on Tuesday, February 13 from 10:30 ?11:30 am at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, PA. The meeting will be held in conjunction with PETE&C (Pa. Educational Technology Expo and Conference.)
